As a supporter of collaborative conservation, Iowa Coldwater Conservancy is pleased to take part in the Iowa Nature Summit, a statewide gathering held at Drake University that brings together conservationists, educators, farmers, and land stewards to explore the future of Iowa’s natural landscapes. ICC has awarded grants totaling $1,500 to help sponsor this conference in the Fall of 2023 and 2024. ICC also sends representatives to attend the conference, and sets up a booth to help more people become informed of ICC’s mission.
The summit fosters connection across disciplines—linking science with storytelling, policy with practice, and grassroots action with statewide goals. Sessions focus on habitat restoration, water quality, regenerative farming, and the cultural importance of land in Iowa.
